Me and My Musical Carrier
Music is the one thing that never been lost from my life. My first love with music when my parent bought me an interactive keyboard and took a lesson of me. I was 10 when I took my first music lesson. My parent asked for chinesse man teacher who then prepared me how to read the music sheet. I was playing popular song as my father loved to bought. When I was second grade of junior high school I played with my first band which played some pop and rock music. When I was 14, I dedicated my self in rock music such as Muse. First, I played lead guitar, keyboard and lead vocal, such as Matthew Bellamy and we got ‘The Most Favorite Band’.
In 2005, my friends started to expose me to progressive rock, such as Dream Theater. I played for the band called MAGNETO at Jawa-Bali Music Festival. We got ‘The Second Grade Champion’, ‘The Best Keyboard’, ‘The Best Guitar’ and ‘The Best Drum’. So, we got a chance to be the opening performer of PETERPAN. In the next month, EXPLOSIVE band asked me to joined the band. We also played Indonesian style of progressive rock. We joined a lot of Music Festival and be the champion for most. I often got ‘The Best Keyboard’ too. I decided to left the band due a personal conflict.
In 2006, I met Gopung, my schoolmate. He asked me to joined as a Home Band in our school. He asked Pandu (drums) and Rossa (vocals) as the member and some additional player for guitars. We got the champion in the cellular provider music festival. So, we got a chance to be the opening performer of GIGI and AUDI. Pandu impressed with my piano style and asked me to joined with his band called LIQUOS. We often became the opening performer of Indonesian artists and bands, such as KRISDAYANTI and NETRAL. Liquos music style is combined pop and some jazz. I learned some jazz material for adjustment with their music style. I started to listen INCOGNITO, JAMMIE CULLUM, TOTO, LEVEL42, FOURPLAY, CASIOPEA, CHICK COREA, HIROMI UEHARA, AL-JARREAU, TOWER OF POWER. I left progressive rock by degrees. But I still following synthesizer driving of JORDAN RUDESS.

I often became a product specialist of KORG x50 in the most musical equipment exhibition, such as JAPEX. In 2008, Liquos broke then change into indie music, called FEELLOW. Now, I’m learning for relationship between chord and scales deeply. I’m interest with jazz style. Especially combined by rock, funk, groove, R&B. I’m taking a lesson Greg Phillinganes’s piano and synthesizer style. I’m playing keyboard and synthesizer with indie band called SEMOUT, it’s a BrithPop band. My present project, I’m trying to arrange my solo orchestra for improving my skill. I know that there is a sky at the top of the sky, so I keep learning to met the real me.
